I met Ann when her mother and my aunt (Cindy Taylor's mom!) started a Blue Birds group at the First Presbyterian Church. I have fun memories of craft projects and snacks! As an adult Ann lived in Dallas. She passed away due to cancer a couple of years ago and is greatly missed.
Ann and I traveled to Spain in July 1969 with the group led by Spanish teacher Madeleine Lively. Ann kept me laughing the whole time. That trip is a favorite high school memory, and Ann was a favorite friend. She is missed!
I had the priviledge of teaching Ann in my American Government class at Lee; she was a doll and when I mentioned I was traveling to Europe the following summer, Ann gave me names of restaurants in Paris to be sure and visit. Her mom, likewise, was such a great lady.
As someone posted, Ann did live in Dallas and, so sadly, passed away after a battle with cancer. I attended her service in the chapel at First Presbyterian in Tyler. I also went by their home afterwards where her mom was as gracious as ever. Ann had a distinction and grace about her that will linger.......

Thanks, Shannon, for the information. I have only fond memories of Ann in high school. I always admired and liked her.

When did Ann pass away? I saw her mother about a month ago, and she did not mention Ann's passing. What happened?
