I haven't seen Jack since high school, but wondered what ever became of him. My favorite memory of Jackwas when I was walking home from Junior high one day and saw him in his backyard. He had a large pigeon coupe and called me over to watch him feed the pigeons. He explained racing pigeons was his hobby. I thought of Jack as a tough guy before that, and realized he was a good guy from that day on.
Does anyone know when Jack passed away ? I have several stories about Jack because he lived a couple of streets over from me near Hubbard. The dysfunction was legendary. I can’t believe I stayed out of prison. He came from a really nice family, though.
I have so many Jack stories. In HS, he was a real BA.
What is strange, I think I was still at TJC, or later, and I went over to a bar in Kilgore, that had live music, and there was Jack. I hadn't seen him since HS, but he recognized me, and we bellied up to the bar, and had a wonderful talk.
He was a totally different person! It was like a 180 deg change in the man.
I remember him telling me about all kinds of rumours, and problems in his family life, but I just couldn't get over what a changed person he was. Nothing like the person he was in HS.
